Napoli striker Victor Osimhen yesterday underwent series of checks and treatment at the club’s training centre in Castel Volturno, following the problem with his left adductor, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The Nigeria international last week returned to the club injured after his time with the Super Eagles.
Osimhen himself claimed the injury is nothing serious but should be out until a week’s time.
Although the 24 year-old is most likely going to sit out this weekend in the league against Leece at the Stadio Via Del Marte, Osimhen should be ready for the UEFA Champions League quarter-final at the San Siro on April 12 against AC Milan.
Coach Luciano Spalletti will definitely be glad to see his top striker return as the Partenopei’s got trashed by the same AC Milan 4-0 at the weekend.
