Asante Kotoko head coach David Duncan has received the backing of the management of the club and is bracing himself to turn the tides in the club.
The Porcupine warriors again failed to build on their impressive semi-final victory over Aduana Stars in the MTN FA cup after losing 3-0 to Berekum Chelsea.
The results coupled with the performance sums up their season which is best described as inconsistent.
They made their 4th MTN FA cup final after a solid display to see off the challenge of Aduana Stars only to lose at home against Berekum Chelsea.
They are 10th on the league table with 29 points from 22 games and 11 points adrift leaders Ashanti Gold Football club.
But management are committed to allowing Duncan the required time to turn things around.
“These are very difficult times in the club but we trust the coach and we will do all that we can to be able to turn things around,” CEO Opoku Nti said
Duncan has endured a difficult start to his tenure as head coach of Asante Kotoko and would be keen to finish the league on the high even if he is unable to retain the title.
