Nigeria Super Eagles striker has continued his fine time for his new club, Galatasaray as he propelled them to victory in the UEFA Europa League against PAOK, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Victor Osimhen got his third assist in three matches for Galatasaray in their 3-1 home victory in their Europa League opener on Wednesday night.
There was nothing to choose between the two sides after 45 minute of action at the Ali Sami Yen Spor Kompleksi.
However, things hit up in the second phase of the game as Osimhen's header was turned into the net by Baba Rahman three minutes after the restart.
Giannis Konstantelias restored parity for the Greek side on 67 minute, but Yunus Akgün restored Gala's lead on 75 minute courtesy of an assist from Osimhen.
The reigning African footballer of the year was substituted on 78 minute for Mauro Icardi who scored the goal that consolidated victory for the hosts after minutes of additional time.
