UCL: Victor Osimhen scores on his return from AFCON as Napoli stage comeback draw against Barcelona

Nigeria Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen helped his side Napoli to a 1-1 draw against Spanish giants, Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League round of 16, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The goal poacher scored to cancel a Robert Lewandoski's strike to earn a point for Gli Azzurri at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.

After a goalless affair in the first half, the visiting team broke the deadlock in the hour mark with Lewandoski putting the Blaugrana ahead.

The Pole fired a powerful low shot into the bottom corner to put the away team in front with 30 minutes to go from a Pedri assist.

Osimhen however equalled score 15 minutes later with what was his last strike of the game as he was substituted afterwards.

Zambo Anguissa played a pass through to Victor Osimhen inside the box, and the Nigerian striker outmuscled Iñigo Martínez before turning and finding the bottom corner.

Osimhen has now scored 6 UCL goals at home and 9 goals in total in 16 appearances.
