U20WWC: Germany beat Nigeria in second match

Nigeria's U-20 Women's National team lost its second game of the ongoing FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup against Germany on Wednesday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Falconets lost 1-3 to the former champions at the Estadio Metropolitano de Techo, Bogota.

Alara Sehitler put the Germans ahead in 17 minutes to keep the score 1-0 after halftime.

Chiamaka Okwuchukwu restored parity for the African giants in 50 minutes before Sofie Ernst restored the European giant's lead 11 minutes later.

Sarah Ernst scored at additional time to seal the win for Germany who progress to the next round after the two wins.

The Falconets will play Venezuela in the final match of the group phase at the Estadio Pascual Guerrero in Cali on Saturday at 9 PM.
