Flying Eagles opponents, Young Pharaohs of Egypt suffered a setback in the preparation for the Africa U20 Cup of Nations on Tuesday as they were beaten 2-0 in a friendly match against Black Galaxies of Ghana.
The Black Galaxies scored in both halves to record a 2-0 win in the friendly tie played at the Cairo International Stadium on Tuesday.
Kofi Kordzi and Sylvester Simba scored in the 15th and 57th minute respectively for the Black Galaxies in the match which was played behind closed doors.
The host of the 2023 AFCON U20 Egypt Young Pharaohs had to play Ghana Black Galaxies after their proposed back-to-back friendly game with Zambia fell through.
