Nigeria under 17 girls earned a comfortable win over their Liberia counterpart in the CAF U17 Women's Women's World Cup Qualifiers - Fourth Round, First Leg in Liberia on Sunday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Flamingos secured a comfortable 4-1 at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Stadium in Monrovia, Liberia.

After a 15 minutes goal was ruled out by the referee for an infringement, Nigeria finally scored another four minutes later to open score through Shakirat Moshood.

Peace Effiong doubled the lead 10 minutes to put the visitors on a roller coaster ride.

By the 36th minute, it was three for Nigeria as Harmony Chidi recorded her name in the score sheet for her 10th of the tournament, ending the first half with a comfortable lead for Nigeria.

Coach Bankole Olowookere was not satisfied yet after 19 minutes played in the second half as he brought in Blessing Ifitezue, Farida Abdulwahab and Onyedikachi Ekezie to Harmony Chidi, Funke Arogundade and Prisca Nwachukwu respectively.

And in no time Ifitezue earned the superb sub tag as she increased the lead to 4-0 10 minutes after her introduction before the hosts through Yassah Gwaikolo pulled one back from the spot off Onyedikachi Ekezie's mistake on 87 minute.

It finished 4-1 at full time as Nigeria take a hug advantage to the second leg in Abuja by 14 June.
