Super Eagles striker Henry Onyekuru has resumed training with Adana Demirspor ahead of their big Turkish Super Lig clash against Galatasaray on Saturday, Nigeriasoccernet.com gathered.

Onyekuru joined Adana Demirspor in the summer on a loan transfer from serial Greek champions Olympiakos. Since he arrived in Turkey, the Super Eagles forward has been spectacular for the Blue Lightning, scoring two goals and assisting two in seven league games.

His brilliance earned him a spot in coach Jose Peseiro’s 25-man squad for the friendly against Algeria.

Unfortunately for Onyekuru, he sustained an injury in Adana Demirspor’s game against Konyaspor before the international break.

The injury effectively ruled him out of the Super Eagles’ game against Algeria.
