Nigeria duo of Babajide Akintola and Ibrahim Olawoyin both scored as Caykur Rizespor wrap up their season with a home victory over Jonathan Okoronkwo’s Hatayspor, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The players scored in Caykur Rizespor's 5-2 win over Atakas Hatayspor at the Çaykur Didi Stadyumu on Saturday evening.
Akintola opened the score two minutes before the end of the first to keep the host in the lead at halftime.
Ali Sowe doubled the lead after five minutes played in the second half to make it 2-0.
Hatayspor pulled a goal back through Yigit Ali Buz on 68 minutes to give the visitors a lifeline, but Emrecan Bulut restored Rizespor's 2-goal lead on 72 minutes.
The deficit was reduced once again by Kerim Alicia two minutes later to bringing the score to 3-2 after 74 minutes played.
With a minute left to 90 minutes, Ibrahim Olawoyin restored the 2-goal lead before Ali Sowe, with his second of the day, consolidated victory after a minute of added time.
