Bursaspor of Turkey defender, William Troost-Ekong has set his sight on returning to action with his club against Fernebahce this weekend, following his emergence back in training just a week after suffering a muscle strain.

The Super Eagles stopper and Rio 2016 Olympic Games bronze medallist copped the injury in the 78th minute of last Wednesday’s FA Cup and was replaced by Ismail Konuk during the clash against Adanaspor.

However, the 24-year-old former Dutch youth international took to social media to reveal that he is back in training with his club and declared that he is ready to face one of the Lig’s Istanbul giants this weekend.

Troost-Ekong, who has made 13 Super Lig appearances for Bursaspor (15 in all competitions) this season, with two goals, trained with the rest of his teammates on Tuesday after missing last Sunday’s clash against Konyaspor.
