Super Eagles captain William Troost-Ekong is set to join Saudi Arabian side Al Khalood from PAOK, in a surprise transfer move, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports m.
Despite being expected to play a key role for PAOK this season, Troost-Ekong has agreed to personal terms with Al Khalood, with both clubs settling on a transfer fee.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, "William Troost-Ekong has agreed to join Al Khalood in Saudi Arabia. PAOK and Al Khalood agreed on fee plus personal terms also in place."
The 30-year-old Nigerian defender, who previously played for Watford, netted the winner for PAOK in the third round of the UEFA Champions League qualifiers this season.
