Steven Zuber could still leave Eintracht Frankfurt in the final phase of the transfer market. According to the AEK fan portal 'enwsi.gr', the 30-year-old Swiss is about to move to AEK Athens. The report does not provide precise information on the transfer modalities.
Zuber had only moved from TSG Hoffenheim to Frankfurt last summer for three million euros. He didn’t get regular missions there - also because he has strong competition on the left wing with Filip Kostic (30).
At the European Championship he showed strong performances with the Swiss national team and attracted the attention of other clubs. AEK now seems to have won the contract.
