Schalke 04 greets Matija Nastasic, who has returned to Fiorentina. His adventure with the Konigsblau ends after six years and 157 matches. Sporting director Rouven Schroder said:
"From day one we spoke openly with Matija and explained to him that the conditions of his contract once relegated to the Zweite Bundesliga could not be met. We are happy to have been able to find a very satisfactory solution for both parties and we wish Mati all the best for his private and sporting future ".
