Blackburn Rovers have announced the signing of Ian Poveda on Loan from Leeds UTD. England U-20 INT winger, joined Leeds in the 2020 winter window from Mancity. Since then he has struggled to get into the starting line up for Bielsa but he did impress fans after his performance vs Man City last season but has struggled after that performance. He has joined them on Season Loan but with no option to buy. He is expected to be back to Elland Road next season. He is Skillful & versatile as he can play as winger, Attacking mid & even false 9. His CV is strong as he has spent his youth career with Clubs like Chelsea, Brentford, Mancity, Arsenal & Barcelona. Poveda has made 20 appearances for the Whites.
According to The Athletic, Leeds are set to sign Celtic's Leo Hjelde.
Leeds United director of football Victor Orta said: “We feel Ian can make an impact here in the future and we’ve been very impressed with how Blackburn have developed players such as Harvey Elliott at Liverpool.
“We hope Ian can get some game time and come back to us next season ready to fight.”
