According to an article by Italian newspaper La Nazione, Fiorentina would be on the prowl for Chelsea right-back Davide Zappacosta, who spent last season on loan to Genoa from Chelsea.
The report claims that Fiorentina are attempting a first approach with Chelsea's Marina Granovskaia in order to understand what Chelsea are looking for to sell the player. La Nazione claims that an offer around 8M Euros could be sufficient to convince Chelsea, with the gigliati ready to satisfy the Blues' demands to bring Zappacosta back to Italy, with the player pushing for a move back home.
The Italian has spent the last two seasons on loan with Genoa and Roma, after joining Chelsea from Torino in 2017. The London Club has made it abundantly clear that Zappacosta is no longer in their plans and Fiorentina are looking to pounce on this opportunity, as they are set to sell Pol Lirola, who the Chelsea player would replace.
