David Luiz's return to Brazil is becoming more concrete. According to transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano, an agreement has been reached between the central defender and Flamengo Rio de Janeiro.
Luiz should therefore sign a contract with the first division club until the end of 2022.
The 34-year-old has been without a club since June. The former international had previously been under contract with Arsenal for two years. In total, Luiz has collected 597 appearances in professional football during his career to date.
The defender previously played for Benfica, Chelsea, PSG then Arsenal.
