Gareth Bale is planning to retire from club football next summer but could still play for Wales at the 2022 World Cup, according to the Daily Mirror.
Bale is currently on holiday after leading Wales into the last 16 at Euro 2020 and he is expected to then return to pre-season training at Real Madrid.
The forward, who turns 32 next week, has a year left on his contract worth £600,000-a-week.
The Mirror claim he has told friends and advisers he is not currently planning to get another club next summer when he will be a free agent.
