In a new report by Argentine journalist Cesar Luis Merlo, Atlas are reportedly close to signing striker Franco Troyansky from Union Santa Fe of Argentina.
According to Merlo, "According to three sources involved in the negotiation, talks are at an advanced stage and the clubs are about to strike a deal for a 1-year loan with option to buy for Atlas". This last season Troyanski was out on loan to San Lorenzo de Almagro, and would arrive to the Guadalajara club to replace Renato Ibarra, whose loan from America expired recently.
