Nigeria Galatasaray defender, Valentine Ozornwafor is on the radar of Dutch Eredivisie side Vitesse, Nigeriasoccernet gathered.
As per the report by BSNSports, following the exit of Danilho Doekhi (Union Berlin), Riechedly Bazoer and Jacob Rasmussen (was hired from Fiorentina), Vitesse is eagerly looking for center defenders.
Ozornwafor (23) fits within that profile. With 1.94 meters, the Nigerian brings length and strength. But a deal is still a long way off, sources report.
Ozornwafor was still under contract with Galatasaray last year. Charleroi rented the defender last season and then took over with a purchase options.
Vitesse will start preparing for the new season on Tuesday 28 June. The first league match, against Feyenoord, awaits on Sunday 7 Augustt
He previously had stints with NPFL side Enyimba, Galatasary, UD Almeria, RSC Charleroi.
