Things change in the blink of an eye in football. The Football Whispers Index takes the latest transfer rumours and gives them a score out of five; the higher the score, the more realistic and reliable the whisper.

Here are today's top five emerging whispers. And keep an eye on Transfer Talk for all the latest gossip.

Kieran Tierney to Tottenham

Mauricio Pochettino has had his recruitment team monitoring Celtic's versatile Manxman, and the Daily Record have reported that the London club sent a "top European scout" to watch the player in their recent Champions League clash with Bayern Munich. Predominantly a left-back, Tierney would provide cover in both full back positions, and frequently plays on the right for Scotland. The 20-year-old would be a useful addition for Spurs with left-back Danny Rose -- previously subject of Manchester United transfer rumours -- releasing an explosive interview ahead of the season, suggesting he was not happy at Spurs.

Carlos Soler to Manchester United

This one has been brewing for some time, but the Daily Mail are now reporting that Jose Mourinho's side will make a £30 million offer for the Spaniard. Valencia are riding high in the early La Liga table and sit just four points behind leaders Barcelona in second. As a result, stars such as Soler are attracting a lot of attention from other clubs across Europe. It's for this reason that Manchester United United are looking to get a deal done early, although the 20-year-old is unlikely to move until next summer as Los Che make their surprise challenge for the title in Spain.

Justin Kluivert to Tottenham

Pochettino's scouts are keeping busy as Spurs regularly have representatives at Ajax games this season. Sky Sports News report that they are keeping tabs on 18-year-old forward Justin Kluivert who is the son of former Barcelona and Holland striker Patrick. The forward, who can play through the middle or out wide, made his debut for the club earlier in the year, and is highly thought of across the continent. He has scored twice in 11 Eredivisie starts for Die Godenzonen. Kluivert's Ajax team-mate Donny van de Beek is also, reportedly, a Tottenham transfer target.

Kasper Dolberg to Arsenal

If former Gunner Mark Overmars is to join the north London club in a director of football capacity, then he's likely to bring 20-year-old Danish striker Dolberg with him -- according to Mundo Deportivo. Arsene Wenger has always been against the idea of a director of football, but the club have their former winger in mind for the role when the Frenchman leaves the club. Dolberg has impressed since bursting onto the scene in the Eredivisie, and the Dane already has four caps for his country. Monaco were reportedly keen in the summer, making a €15m offer, but Dolberg prefered to remain in Amsterdam and play week in week out with Ajax.

Iker Casillas to Liverpool

The experienced Spanish stopper was a Liverpool transfer target during the summer and will revive their interest in the 36-year-old in January. El Pais report that the shot-stopper is likely to be available having been dropped to the bench at current club Porto with 24-year-old Jose Sa taking his place. The former Real man isn't too pleased with the decision, and could look to move in the winter transfer window. Whether Jurgen Klopp would be bringing the World Cup and European Championships winner to Anfield to start ahead of Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius remains to be seen, though.
