Fast forward 2023, the Super Eagles striker has come improved over the years scoring 11 goals in league 19 appearances for Boudreaux in the French Ligue 2.
Maja, 24, is in redhot form in France's Ligue 2 and is currently the top scorer with 11 goals and three assists in 19 league appearances.
English media, The Sun, believed the Cottagers would have to pay around £4m to land ex-Sunderland star Maja in this transfer window.
The 24 year old was said to be close to a move to Birmingham City in the last transfer window before the deal broke down. Dare Ogun
