Nigeria's Super Falcons attacker, Toni Payne proved vital in Sevilla's 2-0 win against Alhama over the weekend in the Women's Spanish Premira Division, reports Nigeriasoccernet.com.
Payne gave the assist for Christiana Martin-Prieto's late brace against the newly promoted side.
The first goal came in the 70th minute and the second in the 90th minute to concretize the win.
It was Payne's third assist this season as she remains a pivotal player in the team who got a consecutive win.
She was replaced a minute later after her contribution by Spanish midfielder, Eva Llamas.
Sevilla will next square up against third-placed Real Madrid on October 30, 2022.
