Former Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag said he immediately recognised the exceptional talent of midfielder Kobbie Mainoo.
“I immediately understood that this boy was incredibly talented,” said ten Hag, speaking about the Manchester United player.
Mainoo came through the club’s academy. He has made eight appearances in all competitions this season and provided one assist.
