Nathan Tella has signed a new long-term contract with Bayer 04 Leverkusen, committing his future to the Bundesliga side until June 30, 2031, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The 26-year-old attacker agreed to a five-year extension, with the club highlighting his importance due to his versatility and attacking qualities.
In an official statement, Leverkusen confirmed the extension, noting Tella’s ability to operate across multiple attacking positions, including both wings and as a second striker.
Tella joined the German outfit from Southampton F.C. in 2023 and has since grown into a key member of the squad.
His previous contract was due to expire in 2028, but the new deal reflects the club’s strong confidence in the Nigerian international as they aim to remain competitive both domestically and in Europe.
