Spanish-boy Dannis Inaki Williams showed diamond-grade quality in Athletic Bilbao's tough come-from-behind win over Elche on Sunday while Nana Akwasi Asare's sterling display for AA Gent put them further close to the Belgian title.
You want to know the best Ghanaian performers from the weekend and how they will feature in a dream-team?
Look no further...
GK: Razak Braimah - UD Mirandes (Spain)
Though Braimah picked three goals from his net against a razor-sharp Barcelone B attack, his performance somehow saved Mirandes from conceding more goals from Jordi Vinyals's men who are battling relegation. He would still have to beat his save in the 56th minute which could down as one of his best ever in the Spanish Segunda Division.
D: Nana Akwasi Asare - AA Gent (Belgium)
Asare was deployed in a defensive-cum-attacking role at the Jan Breydelstadion before 27,000 fans and he demonstrated why he is one of the key players behind Gent's successful season in the Pro League. His runs on the flanks caused more problems for the host while his defensive abilities proved a huge block to Brugge.
D: Dennis Appiah - Caen (France)
The former AS Monaco starlet, 22, lasted the entire duration as Caen finally sealed their status in the Ligue 1 for next season after drawing 1-1 with Bastia. Appiah was thick and fast on the lateral defense justified why he should be looked at by Ghana coach Avram Grant. Saturday's game was his 29th league game of the season.
D: Daniel Amartey - FC Copenhagen (Denmark)
Amartey flourished in central midfielder for the champions elite in their 2-0 reverse against rivals FC Midtjylland on Sunday. He proved his versatility when he occasionally switched to defense to double-job anytime his defensive compatriots went to sleep in defense.
D: Johan Kappelhof - FC Groningen (Netherlands)
The Dutch-born Ghanaian made giant contributions to Groningen's 5-4 away triumph over NAC Breda in the Eredivisie on Sunday.
M: Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu - Udinese (Italy)
The Black Stars midfielder returned from suspension to play full throttle for Udinese in their 2-1 loss at AS Roma. Badu was full of energy during the game and provided the pace and physique Udinese needed to keep Roma on their toes at the Stadio Olimpico.
M: Kamal Issah - IF Stabaek (Norway)
Kamal scored his second league of the season for Stabaek in their 3-3 draw at former champions Molde. The former Stade Rennes man simply positioned himself well to finished off an Ernest Asante mis-kick inside the box.
M: Jeffrey Schlupp - Leicester City (England)
Schlupp was in full time action and produced one of his usual best for Leicester as they held Sunderland to a 0-0 stalemate at the Stadium of Light. The Hamburg-born has been influential in the Foxes survival campaign in the EPL this season.
M: Inaki Dannis Williams - Athletic Bilbao (Spain)
The Athletic Bilbao gossamer goal-sprite showed diamond-grade mental toughness and scored the match-winner at the Estadio Manuel Martínez Valero as Bilbao fought from a goal down to snatch a 3-2 win against Elche FC.
M: Andre Ayew - Olympique de Marseille (France)
Andre scored a beauty in Marseille's 4-0 mauling of Lille. He ran into the box to collect and Gilbert Imbula pass before applying a sweet dink over the onrushing Lille keeper to register his 10th league goals of the campaign.
F: Emmanuel Osei Banahene - Ismaily (Egypt)
What a way to announce an injury return? The 26-year-old bagged a hat-trick for Ismaily in their 5-1 thrashing of Asyouty Sport. The goals means Banahene has now scored 5 goals in his last three competitive league games.
