Super Falcons' Nnadozie nominated for UNFP Goalkeeper of the Year

Super Falcons' goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, who recently clinched the title of best goalkeeper in the D1 Arkema (French Women’s League), has secured yet another nomination, Nigeriasoccenet.com reports.

The 23-year-old shot-stopper, also honored in the D1 Arkema Team of the Season, has been nominated for the prestigious National Union of Professional Footballers (UNFP) Goalkeeper of the Year award.

Nnadozie's exceptional performance for Paris FC, marked by her remarkable penalty-saving prowess, has garnered global recognition.

The award ceremony is scheduled for Monday, May 13.

With a record of seven penalty saves this season, the highest in Europe, Nnadozie faces tough competition from renowned goalkeepers including Christiane Endler of Olympic Lyon, Katarzyna Kiedrzynek of Paris SG, Chloe N’Gazi of FC Fleury, and Kinga Szemik of Stade de Reims.
