Super Eagles striker Anthony Ujah has congratulated Obafemi Martins and Kelechi Iheanacho for their invitations to the national team for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Swaziland next month.

Seattle Sounders striker, Martins, and late entrant Manchester City's Iheanacho have been impressive at their clubs this season.

"Obafemi Martins and Kelechi Iheanacho have been in great form for their clubs in the US and in England, so it's a welcome development. I just hope to be back in the team too," Ujah who has returned to goal scoring form after a five-match drought told Completesportsnigeria.com.

Ujah who scored a brace against Leon Balogun's FSV Mainz in a 3-1 away win in the Bundesliga last weekend and the only goal in the 1-0 win in the DFB Pokal against his former club, Cologne midweek added:

"It's a wonderful feeling when you're doing well and you get a call to the national team.

"Thank God for the goals. It wouldn't have been possible to play well and score if not for the support of my team-mates and coaches who encouraged me even when the goals didn't come."

Bremen's next game is against Borussia Dortmund on Saturday.
