Nigeria's senior national team, the Super Eagles, is gearing up for two crucial international friendlies as part of their preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The team will face Venezuela at the Blue Energy Stadium in Houston on November 14, followed by a match against Colombia at Citi Field in New York on November 18.
This will mark the third meeting between Nigeria and Colombia, with Colombia having won both of their previous encounters.
Their past matches include a 1-0 win for Colombia in 1994 and another 1-0 victory in 1995's US Cup, while one other match ended in a 1-1 draw in 2010.
The upcoming matches are scheduled as follows: Venezuela vs Nigeria on November 14, Colombia vs New Zealand on November 15, and Colombia vs Nigeria on November 18.
These friendlies will serve as vital warm-ups for the Super Eagles ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in December, in Morocco.
