The Super Eagles this morning flew out to Sierra Leone on a chartered flight for a 2021 AFCON qualifier slated for Tuesday, but without Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, who has been ruled out of the game after he dislocated his shoulder.

The team’s departure was slated for 8am local time.

The Eagles were held to a dramatic 4-4 draw by the Leone Stars in Benin City on Friday night.

“We will take a ferry to Freetown when we land in Sierra Leone,” Eagles spokesman Babafemi Raji disclosed.

“The squad is intact except for Victor Osimhen, who left camp yesterday after his injury.”

That means that Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze, who has nursed a groin problem after he scored on Friday, as well as injury doubts Leon Balogun and Emmanuel Dennis are all available for selection.

Officials also said the entire squad had negative Covid-19 test ahead of tomorrow’s match at the Siaka Stevens Stadium in Freetown.
