Three years after they were featuring for Nigeria U17s, Kelechi Iheanacho and Isaac Success are set to start for their respective Premier League clubs this weekend.

Iheanacho, 20, is in line to start for league leaders Manchester City today at home against Everton following injury to England star Raheem Sterling.

It would be his third league start and he has scored two goals.

Watford manager Walter Mazzarri has also hinted Success could be rewarded for his recent displays with his first start Sunday afternoon at Middlesbrough.

The 20-year-old striker has a goal to his name after coming off the bench in all five appearances for Watford in his debut season in England.

It has been a flying three years for the two Nigeria strikers.

Success was the star of the 2013 African Junior Championship in Morocco, but a hamstring injury ended his U17 World Cup campaign in Abu Dhabi allowing Iheanacho to emerge MVP as Nigeria clinched a fourth global trophy.

Iheanacho has since made his breakthrough in the Premier League last season, while Success grafted away in La Liga with Granada.

Iheanacho has also established himself as full international and only this past weekend, he became the first player to score in four straight games for the Super Eagles.

This is at a time when Success could not honour his first-ever Eagles call-up reportedly for a dead leg.
