A relative of Sulley Muntari, Mohammed has confirmed a failed attempt to deliver an apology letter on behalf of the AC Milan midfielder to the Ghana FA.

The 30-year-old was reported to have presented an apology letter to the GFA for his shameful behaviour at the 2014 World Cup.

Muntari physically attacked a management committee member at the height of player agitation over delayed payment in appearance fees.

The Ghana FA has since handed the former Inter Milan man an indefinite ban and is demanding an official apology before considering him for Black Stars selection.

One Mohammed, who claims to be a relative of Muntari, has revealed he was sent to deliver the apology letter to the management committee chairman of the Black Stars Goerge Afriyie but was unable to do so due to Afriyie’s unavailability.

“I was sent by Sulley Muntari to deliver an apology letter to the management committee chairman of the Black Stars,” he told Atinka FM.

“But then upon arrival at the GFA premises, I couldn’t find the chairman and therefore I have returned to Italy with the letter.

“Sulley says he will deliver the letter himself when he comes to Ghana.”

I think We should consider the fact that Sulley is Sorry for what he did he did it out of discretion there is a reason behind his action so people are saying he was to retain his playing career at AC Milan but his career is coming to an end so I think he is sorry for his action.
