Sudanese giants, Al-Merreikh have arrived Ogun State, Nigeria for Valuejet Pre season tournament scheduled to hold in from next week, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Al-Merreikh will participate in the 3rd edition of the Value jet tournament organized by Airline operators, Valuejet under the supervision of the Nigerian Football Federation.
Organisers confirmed participation of the Sudanese participation for this year’s event a couple of days ago making the 2024 edition an “Inter-continental” edition.
The 8-team tournament already has four teams confirmed for the kickoff date of July 24th. Defending champions, Shooting Stars Sports Club, Remo Stars and Kwara United are the other three teams.
Reigning NPFL champions, Rangers International, Abia Warriors, Ikorodu City and former NPFL champions, Rivers United are the other teams expected to be confirmed for participation.
Al-Merreikh are 19-time Sudan Premier League champions and African Cup winners.
