Stanley Nwabali's participation in the Super Eagles' forthcoming friendlies against Ghana and Mali hangs in the balance following an injury setback sustained during Chippa United's clash with champions Mamelodi Sundowns in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) on Saturday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The goalkeeper was forced off the field in the 73rd minute of the encounter, which ended in a 2-0 defeat for Chippa United.

Also Luton Town center-back, Gabriel Osho was also taken off the pitch in Luton’s 1-1 against Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Getting his first invite to play for the Super Eagles, Osho couldn’t play the last 10 minutes of the regular time due to a suspected injury.

The extent of both Nwabali and Osho’s injury remains uncertain, with further evaluation expected in the days ahead.

Nigeria will play Ghana on March 22 before playing Mail four days later with both games in staged for Marrakech, Morocco.
