Rwanda head coach, Torsten Spittler, has tipped Nigeria's Super Eagles to win Group D in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying phase, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The Super Eagles currently lead the group with four points from two matches, followed by Benin Republic's Cheetahs with three points, and Rwanda's Amavubi in third with two points.
Spittler, a German national, believes Nigeria's dominance will continue, saying, "It's a difficult group, but in the end, Nigeria will win the group."
He predicts a battle for second place between Benin Republic and Rwanda, stating, "It will be Benin and us (Rwanda) who will fight for second place."
Rwanda is seeking a return to the AFCON finals, having last appeared in the tournament in 2004.
Their good run of games under Spittler since 2023 has seen the East Africans lost one’s in their last eight games.
