Nigeria's Rinsola Babajide proved vital alongside Gift Monday as UDCA Tenerife snatched a late draw against Rasheedat Ajibade's Atletico de Madrid in the Spanish Liga F on Sunday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The Super Falcons striker scored for the second game in a row in Tenerife's 2-2 draw against Athletico De Madrid at the Football Field (Adeje).
She opened the score in the 24th minute after snatching the ball in the opponent's area to convert with a close-range goal as the hosts took the lead at the break.
Atletico Madrid equalized when Sheila Guijarro headed in an assist by Fiamma Benitez on 53 minutes Silvia Lloris gave the visitors the lead in the 85th minute after Babajide was substituted on 64 minutes.
Tenerife, however, snatched a point in stoppage time, thanks to María José Pérez’s composed finish.
Babajide now has four goals in the league tied with teammate Gift but behind Ajibade who played for 30 minutes with five.
