Spain call Omorodion and 21 others for Paris Olympics

Nigerian descent, Samuel Omorodion has been named in Spain's squad for the football event of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The 20-year-old, spent last season on-loan at Deportivo Alaves registering 8 goals and one assist in 34 league appearances.

Omorodion, born in Melilla, Spain, to Nigerian parents will now represent his country of both at the Games in Paris.

The Atletico Madrid forward will be in France alongside Villarreal’s Alejandro Baena, Barcelona's Fermin Lopez, Pau Cubarsi, Lopez, Eric Garcia and 17 others.

The Men's Olympic Football Tournament Paris 2024, will be played from 24 July to 9 August.
