Orlando Pirates will unveil Ghana defender Awal Mohammed as their new player after the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations, fresh reports in South Africa have emerged.
The 26-year-old has reportedly agreed a three-year deal with the Buccaneers and waiting an approval from his current club Maritzburg United.
The former Kotoko centre-back has been a steal in the United defense since he joined three years ago.
He has signed a two-year extension at the Team of Choice but could be heading to Pirates after the Nations Cup, media reports have claimed.
Mohammed stock could also rise if he impresses for Ghana at the ongoing tournament in Equatorial Guinea.
He played full throttle in the Black Stars morale-deflating 2-1 defeat to Senegal in Mongomo on Monday.
