New signing Moise Kean has been backed by Marco Silva to be a big hit at Everton, having left Italian giants Juventus to try his luck in the Premier League.
The 19-year-old joins the Toffees on a five-year contract, with Silva clearly delighted to have secured a signing which gives him a much-needed further option in attack.
Moise is strong, fast, with many good qualities as a striker.
Marco Silva
Silva told his club's official website: "A striker was one of our priority signings this summer.
"Moise is strong, fast, with many good qualities as a striker and he is just 19 years old. He has talent and he is ready to work, ready to improve our squad and gives us different solutions.
"Of course he was at a big club, now he's come to another big club and is ready to fight for this challenge and to give everything to Everton."
The 19-year-old forward scored seven times in 16 appearances for Juve last season, including a run of four straight games with a goal in Serie A.
His form led to a first senior Italian national team call-up, with Kean making his debut in a friendly against the United States, before scoring in European Championship qualifiers against Finland and Liechtenstein.
Kean is the fifth major signing made by the Toffees so far this summer, with the Merseysiders having previously recruited goalkeeper Jonas Lossl and midfield trio Fabian Delph, Jean-Philippe Gbamin and Andre Gomes.
Everton can be backed at 7/2 to finish in the Premier League top six this season, while they are 16/1 to secure a top-four spot.
