Nigeria Olympic team coach Samson Siasia has departed for Rio Olympics draw in Rio de Janeiro on Thursday.
African champions Nigeria are in Pot 2 of the draw.
They won an historic Olympic soccer gold in 1996 and were beaten in the gold medal match at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
This week, Siasia, who was in charge of the team to Beijing, named 30 players from the Nigeria league for a training camp in Abuja.
A list of foreign-based call-ups is expected to be announced soon after the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) would have received commitment from their various overseas clubs.
