LaLiga club, Sevilla are nearing a deal to sign Nigerian forward Jerome Akor Adams from French Ligue 1 side Montpellier, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that talks between Sevilla and Montpellier are in the final stages.
Adams, 24, has had a modest season with Montpellier, scoring three goals and providing one assist in 15 league appearances.
However, his impressive form with Norwegian outfit Lillestrøm, where he netted 23 goals in 38 league games, caught the attention of several top-tier clubs.

Sevilla, who already have two Nigerian players in their squad, Chidera Ejuke and Kelechi Iheanacho, are looking to bolster their attacking options with Adams' signing.
It's worth noting that Adams has experienced a goalscoring drought in recent months, failing to score in his last 13 Ligue 1 games.
However, Montpellier's manager, Michel Der Zakarian, remains confident in the Nigerian striker's abilities, believing he will soon regain his scoring form.
