Italian Serie B side Perugia have omitted injured Ghanaian midfielder Amidu Salifu from their squad to face Cesena but have included defender Masahuhu Alhassan, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.

The 23-year-old former Fiorentina youth player is currently suffering from a muscle tear which he picked during training with Perugia three days ago.

Perugia doctors found distracting second degree to the biceps femoral of the right thigh and is expected to be out for the next seven days.

In his absence, Perugia manager Pierpaolo Bisoli has welcome Udinese defender Masahudu Alhassan who is on loan at the club.
