AC Milan and AS Roma are set to compete for a six-month loan deal for Real Madrid forward Endrick in 2027, with several European clubs also considering an approach for the 20-year-old in January.
Endrick spent the second half of last season on loan at French club Lyon after finding regular first-team opportunities difficult to secure at Real Madrid under Xabi Alonso and Alvaro Arbeloa.
The Brazil forward made a strong impression in Ligue 1, scoring eight goals and registering eight assists in 21 appearances across all competitions. He returned to Madrid in June for pre-season preparations.
Liverpool contacted Real Madrid about a loan package for the 2026/27 season, but their proposal was rejected. Jose Mourinho wanted to assess Endrick after the player had recovered from injury.
However, Endrick has played only four minutes for Mourinho since returning to fitness. AC Milan and Arsenal are monitoring his situation.
A move to Italy is regarded as the most suitable option for Endrick’s development, while Arsenal would not be able to guarantee him a starting position. That has left AC Milan and AS Roma facing a direct battle for his signature on a temporary deal in 2027.
