Planning to land where eagles fly high, after a whole course into Hellas Verona ranks, 26-year old Italian box-to-box midfielder Mattia Zaccagni is still a major target for Lazio management, ready to go for a last-minute move at him as long as Filip Kostic doesn't join in from Eintracht Frankfurt, out of a too expensive cost for his rights.

Still on a deal with Scaligeri until June 2022, Zaccagni, soon to re-enter the senior national team circle, is regarded as a right-before-the-buzzer move by more Serie A demi-giants, notably Atalanta, Fiorentina, Napoli, and AC Milan. Evolving in a mostly attacking midfielder/winger position, under current Torino boss Ivan Juric, the player is meant to be on his way out on an about 16 million euros transfer fee.
