Inter Milan's Joaquin Correa had a fantastic debut on Friday, scoring twice to help the Serie A champions from behind to defeat Hellas Verona 3-1.
Correa finalized his transfer to Inter from Lazio on Thursday and came off the bench to seal the win for Simone Inzaghi's side, who have won two games in a row to start their championship defense.
Inter's second goal came seven minutes from time when he forward sprang high to head home Matteo Darmian's cross and cap a second-half comeback after Lautaro Martinez had leveled the score with a header of his own just after the interval.
In stoppage time, he placed the icing on the cake when he collected the ball and scored the third goal with a pinpoint finish.
This is what the player had to say after the match:
"I dreamed about coming here as a kid, I've put the Inter jersey on for the first time and thankfully we won thanks to my goals," a joyous Correa told Sky Sport Italia.
"I want to thank my teammates, coach, and the club who showed their faith in me and made me feel like I had been here for years."
