As recently discovered by Tuttomercatoweb, Gremio recently rejected an offer from A.C. Milan for Vanderson.

Vanderson, a right-back who is just 20 years of age, is considered to be one of the emerging talents of Brazilian football, and has already been compared to legends like Cafu, Serginho and Roberto Carlos in his homeland. Milan tried to bring him to Italy, but Gremio refused their offer, as they consider the player not for sale. 

Milan have been trying to find a fullback for a reserve role for some time now, after the signing of Fode Ballo-Toure. It now seems they are about to close the deal to bring European Champion Alessandro Florenzi to Milan on loan with an option to buy, after the failed attempt for Vanderson.
