Settling up his departure from Torino already, on a free move, after four seasons in, 34-year old Italian international goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu is about to join Genoa on an official basis. Back from Italy successful Euro 2020 campaign, former Granata stopper has already agreed with Il Grifone on a season-long deal, including an option to extend for a further year.

Inquired about by a bunch more clubs, including Cagliari, Lille, and Olympiakos, before agreeing on his Genoa move, Sirigu used to play for Paris Saint-Germain, as a standout tenure, winning four national titles between 2012 and 2016, besides some minor loan spells with Sevilla FC and Osasuna.

Genoa are planning to announce his signing in couple days' matter.
