According to a report by Portuguese newspaper A Bola, Italian club Fiorentina would be in talks with Porto to bring Mexican attacking midfielder Jesus "Tecatito" Corona to Florence.

According to the report, the Viola would be willing to pay a sum close to $30M for the Mexican international, who has garnered interest from La Liga side Sevilla as well. Corona would be the second-ever Mexican to play at Franchi Stadium, after Carlos Salcedo donned the purple in the 2016-2017 season. There he would find Gennaro Gattuso, who managed fellow Mexican Hirving Lozano in his spell at Napoli and was just named the new Fiorentina manager a couple of weeks ago.

Corona is one of the most intriguing prospects for this transfer window, after he was named the Portuguese league MVP for 2019-2020 and would definitely be a welcome addition to the Gigliati for next season, after the Tuscan side managed to just avoid relegation last year in Serie A
