Gianluca di Marzio reports that Serie A side Fiorentina have formally entered into negotiations with Ligue 1 outfit Lille over the possible signing of Turkish international right-back Zeki Çelik after losing out on the race for Zappacosta.
Negotiations have advanced to the point that both clubs are happy in principle with a loan with obligation to buy formula dependent on the number of appearances that Çelik would make in the 2021/22 campaign for La Viola.
Fiorentina want that clause to sit at €8m, whilst Lille want it at €12m. The negotiation is expected to speed up just before the end of transfer window.
