Atalanta are always a club on the lookout for new talent to add on the cheap, and it seems they are at it again. This time, as reported by tuttomercatoweb, they seem to be following the trail of Abdou Harroui, a Dutch midfielder.
Harroui currently plays for Sparta Rotterdam, and has already made his debut in the Dutch Under-21 side. This would be an interesting addition for Atalanta, especially because the young midfielder's contract expires at the end of this season, which means that Percassi's club could find a favorable deal with the Eredivise side.
With Sparta, Harroui has made 61 appearances since 2016, a considerable number, given his young age. He's also played for the Netherland's Under-21 team a total of 6 times. This would be an operation not unlike those that brought Martin De Roon, Remo Freuler and Robin Gosens to Bergamo, names under the radar but that grew while with the nerazzurri.
