As reported by Milannews.it Milan are now looking for a new attaccking midfielder, after Calhanoglu joined rivals Inter on a free transfer just a couple of days ago.

One of the options under consideration seems to be RB Leipzig's Marcel Sabitzer. The Austrian international's contract with the Bundesliga side is set to expire next year, and this could make for an easier negotiation and a lower price than that of Ziyech of Chelsea or Ceballos, both linked with the Italian giants in the past couple of weeks.

Sabitzer is coming off a season in which he scored 9 times, with 7 assists in 39 games played, and the upcoming Italy-Austria clash at the Euros could be a chance for Milan to see the Austrian in action once again before they make a decision on who will replace Calhanoglu in the squad for next season.
